Personal & Group Training

Personal training is a critically valuable tool for anybody who is serious about his or her health and fitness. The customized nature ensures maximum results, safety, and confidence. In fact, research suggests that personal training, especially one-on-one, is an effective method for changing an individual’s attitude and physical activity participation. However, “personal” doesn’t always have to mean one-on-one; if that’s not possible or desirable for you, then we can still offer you an individualized program and focused attention, either with a friend or in a small group.

Your three training options include:

• One-on-one: You and your trainer work on your specific goals, maybe training for a half marathon, preparing for your wedding, or getting back into a routine after having a baby.
• Semi-private: You and another person (of your choosing) work with a trainer to achieve shared goals.
• Group training: You and up to seven other people work with a trainer in one of our specially designed “Team Fit” training sessions (Click here for our schedule) or we will create a program specifically tailored to your group’s individual and collective needs.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

There’s a reason why it’s called PERSONAL training: every person has his or her own needs; and those needs can vary by the hour, day, week, month, and year (or even within a single training session). We know that; that’s why we craft every training session to be as productive and satisfying for you as it can possibly be.

Our team is really on the ball when it comes to the latest research, thinking, and modalities in the fields of health, fitness, sports performance, psychology, and nutrition. Know you’re getting the best, most efficient and effective training methods around.

We’re not afraid to toot our own horn because we’re really good at what we do! However, there is one thing we can’t do: perform magic. So, it’s up to you to commit and contribute to the process as well. Your success is our success. Together we can achieve your wildest dreams. And maybe create a little exercise magic…

THE VITAL PROCESS:

Our relationship with you begins with an initial consultation and comprehensive health and fitness assessment. This is your opportunity to meet our exercise specialists, discuss your goals and concerns, and provide us with all the information we need to create the best program for you. Your short and long-term success is important to us; which is why we establish your weekly training schedule early on to ensure maximum consistency, motivation, and results.

Mid-way through your program you’ll meet with our Director to review and evaluate your process to date. She’ll also want to ensure that you’re satisfied with our service, on every level, so please let her know if there is any area where we fall short of your expectations.

The end of your first program is also the beginning of a new, active, and healthier life. We want you to feel and look this good for the rest of your life. So, we’ll sit down with you and chat about how together we can sustain and build on the progress you’ve made.
